Listener invites

Who can take part: anyone with a Carry On account.

How it works:

• Get your invite link and code from your Invite page.
• Your friend creates a new Carry On account with your link, or enters your code on their Invite page. A code works only for an account created after the code, and only before that account's first purchase. Each account can be invited once.
• Nothing is earned at sign-up. The reward comes when your friend makes their first paid purchase (coins, a plan or Superfan) and the payment goes through. A purchase that costs nothing, for example with a 100% discount code, doesn't count.

The reward: you get 20 coins and your friend gets 20 coins, added to both accounts when the purchase clears.

Yearly limit: you can earn rewards for up to 10 invites per calendar year (1 January to 31 December, UTC). Invites past the limit are still recorded, but neither you nor your friend gets a reward for them.

Dates: the programme runs from 21 September 2026 to 21 September 2027 (UTC). A code can be entered only while the programme is running, and a reward is given only when the qualifying purchase clears while it is running.

When there is no reward

The reward is shared: either both of you get coins for an invite, or neither of you does.

• If you were invited: if the person who invited you has already reached their yearly limit, or the programme isn't running when your purchase clears, neither of you gets a reward for that invite.
• You can't invite yourself or your own other accounts.
• There is no reward if the qualifying purchase is paid with a payment method the inviter has used, or one that has already earned an invite reward.
• Accounts made to collect rewards, and any other abuse, earn nothing, and we may close them.

About reward coins

• Reward coins unlock episodes like any other coins, and they never expire.
• They have no cash value, can't be refunded, and can't be transferred to another account.
• Reversal: if your friend's qualifying purchase is refunded or charged back, the reward is reversed for both of you: any reward coins from it that haven't been spent are removed. Coins already spent stay spent, and episodes already unlocked stay unlocked for as long as they are published.

Writer invites

A writer-to-writer invite programme is designed but not running yet: writers can't get a writer invite code in the app, and the reward depends on a paid writer package, which isn't sold yet. No writer invite reward can be earned until it opens.

When it opens, the reward will be paid in cash through the inviting writer's payouts, after the invited writer's package payment clears and one of their series reaches a set number of published episodes, with a lifetime limit per writer. We will publish the amounts and the full rules on this page before it opens.

Changes and ending

We may change or end these programmes by updating this page. A change never takes away a reward you have already received, except under the reversal rule above. If a programme ends, invites already made still earn their reward for qualifying purchases that clear before the end date.
